＜要旨＞
本稿では，AI技術の急速な進展が医療分野にもたらす大規模な変革として「メディカル・ビッグバン」という概念を提示する．医療におけるAI技術の導入においては医療データへのプライバシー保護の厳格さなどが障壁となっていたが，学習データの質と量の問題を解決する新技術の開発やデータ共有などにより，これらの課題は段階的に克服されつつある．さらに，AI技術は高精度な診断支援や医療プロセスの自動化を実現し，「スーパープレシジョン医療」の実現へのステップを着実に歩んでいる．本稿では医療AIがもたらす「メディカル・ビッグバン」の未来に向けた具体的な戦略および教育の重要性について論じ，医療AIの一つの理想形として「コメディカルAI」というAI支援様式を提唱する．また世界におけるAI教育の先進的な取り組みとして，米Stanford 大学でのAIの教育システムを著者自身の経験から紹介する．
<Abstract>
This article introduces the concept of the “Medical Big Bang” as a massive transformation brought about by the rapid advancement of AI technology in the medical field.　The introduction of AI technology in healthcare has faced barriers such as stringent privacy protection for medical data.　However, these challenges are being progressively overcome through the development of new technologies that solve the issues of quality and quantity of training data and through efforts such as data sharing.　Furthermore, AI technology enables highly accurate diagnostic support and automation of medical processes, steadily advancing toward the realization of “Super Precision Medicine”.　This paper discusses specific strategies and the importance of education in medical AI for the future driven by the “Medical Big Bang”, advocating for a form of medical AI ideal termed “Paramedical AI.”　It also introduces the advanced educational system for AI at Stanford University in the United States, based on the author’s personal experience.
